PUP is dedicated to helping dogs in need. We are also a
resource to others with the same objective.
PUP dogs come from a variety of sources:
|
|
•
Animal Shelters
We offer rescue services to small dogs found in dire conditions caused by
overcrowding and lack of funding, such as those in animal shelters or
puppy mills.
• Other
Rescue Organizations
We aid other rescue organizations by promoting their animals in need and
accepting dogs from them when we can be of help.
•
Breeder
Release
We take
in
dogs from breeders
wanting to find good homes for them.
•
Owner Release
We assist dog owners who need to give up their small dog due to
changes in family circumstances.
Whatever the reason, PUP can often help if a dog is in need of a new home. We provide
care in comfortable, loving foster homes while searching for a well-suited
family who is eager to have a new dog. If you feel you can no longer keep
your small dog or know someone else in this situation, please feel free to
contact us for assistance.
•
Referrals
Oftentimes families encounter problems with their dog's behavior and are
unsure of what to do. Moving or other situations may also arise that
create the need for finding a new vet who will provide quality care. PUP
has numerous resources available and can provide excellent referrals.
