Oly was adopted by Connie, Barb and Megan.
They wrote to tell us, "Oly is healthy, she's gained almost 2
lbs since moving in. She likes to eat in the evenings with some
encouragement (gravy) in her k/d food. She loves her lamb/rice
sticks for treats.
Oly enjoys her short walks, soon it will be longer walks in the sun!
And she loves car rides, goes out almost every day. She just hops in
the back seat!
Her pal here is Megan, 12. Oly has her bed next to Megan's bed,
sleeps with her. And often walks/takes Megan to school and then
picks her up too. Oly has another bed in the living room where she
hangs out with us.
Oly is just wonderful, she is happy here. She does a little running
and skipping in our little yard. We believe she is good for us
and we are good for her."
In November, 2007 we received some sad
news about our beloved Oly.
I’m sorry to be writing to tell you that we had to have Oly
put to sleep last week. Due to a number of health issues
(our vet believes that she may have had a brain tumor), we
reluctantly decided that “crossing the rainbow bridge” was
the best choice for Oly. We, of course, cried our eyes out
over losing her, but we take heart in believing that she is
once again a happy girl, able to play and run without pain
or health issues. We loved her, we spoiled her, and now we
miss our Oly-girl.
Thanks to you at People United for Pets for bringing Oly to
us and making our lives a whole lot richer.
