Our
tiny Mouse, now lives with Laura. She sent us wonderful
pictures and an update.
"The first 3 days or so that Mouse was
here, he spent the majority of them on me or cuddled up with one of
our Dachshunds, Miss Katie Ann (who mothers him like crazy). We were
wondering if he even knew how to bark he was so quiet!
Moving forward to the present time,
Mouse has become quite the little ring leader around here.......that
has GOT to be a Chihuahua thing because my daughter's Chi is the
same way! He can bark with the best of them, and believe me, our
Doxies can bark!
He really struts his stuff now, and is
sporting around town in quite the wardrobe these days, thanks to
EBay and Michelle's handiwork with fleece.
Mouse is quite content to share our bed with the 3 Doxies every
night and I swear he and Molly Bean are competing to see who can
snore the loudest!
Everyone that meets Mouse falls in love with him, but they all
assume he is a puppy because he is so small! And I ask you, who
could not love that face!?
Mouse is developing more of a coat now.....he has these long wispy
hairs popping out all over his chest and around his neck, and he has
gained 2 ounces. Only 6 more ounces to reach his desired weight.
Because of Mouse's heart issues, he needs to stay on the slim side.
But despite his diagnosis of a Grade 4 heart murmur, he pours forth
the love of a heart a hundred times the size and strength of the one
life has dealt him.
We have given him a middle name now...Mouse Angel (except we
say the Hispanic version of Angel which is spelled the same but
pronounced "On-yell", because he truly is our little Angel.
Sometimes the best gifts come in the smallest of packages.
Endless thank yous to PUP for blessing our lives with this tiny
bundle of joy!"
In January, 2008 we received another update from
Mouse's mom.
Mouse
continues to do really well. His mom writes..,He
has more outfits then I do! Oh I love this little
boy!!!!!! His mannerisms are so cute, he is like a cartoon!
