Our little "Frenchie", Luna was adopted by a PUP foster, Patty.
She wrote Luna's Happy Tail and sent photos.
"Just wanted to
let everyone know how well Luna is doing now that she is settled in
at her new home! When PUP first acquired Luna, it was reported that
she could not get along with other dogs, and cats were a definite
no-no.
It is true that when she first came to live
in my home, she was a bit “on edge”. She was a little high strung and was
very food aggressive. Of course, she was also about 6 pounds underweight,
so she was hungry too! Once she felt more secure and got the idea she
wasn’t going anywhere, she blossomed and began to show her true Frenchie
personality.
Luna is at times stubborn, bratty and a
bully to Henry and the foster dogs, but she is always a kick to have
around. She is also such a clown and absolutely loves people!! When we go
on our walks, she goes right up to everyone she meets, wiggling her butt
and jumping up for kisses and hugs!
In the past couple of months, she has taken on the title
of “Official Welcome Wagon” for the new fosters coming into the house as
well. Every new dog loves her, and she has come out of her shell and
started playing now that she has made so many new friends! Her food
aggression has markedly improved and she even shares her water and
“personal space” with Lucy, my extremely overweight tuxedo kitty!
Thank you to Laura and PUP for allowing me to foster and then adopt Luna!
I have always wanted a French Bulldog, and now I have my little “frog
dog”! She is a joy to have in my life!!!"
