Buuke (Aero)

PUP fosters Dave and Lynn adopted Aero.

Dave writes, "Aero has been renamed Buuke. He came into our home as a foster last December. At the time he was about as fearful a dog as you can get. We left the door to his crate open and within an hour he got up enough nerve to run out of his crate and lie beside me on the couch. Within a few days he became friendly with my other 3 dogs in the house.

He loves to play chase with my other little boy Rat Terrier. It has taken him months to get comfortable with the other members of the family and they have shown a lot of patience in getting Buuki comfortable with them.

Buuki finally became comfortable with his foster home surroundings but we felt it would be just too traumatic for him to try to get used to new surroundings and another family so we decided to make him a permanent member of the family. As he learns to relax more and release his fears he is continuing to become a very lovable little guy and is interacting very well with the others in the household."
