In August 2007, Malia wrote to let us know how well Sparky settled into his forever home and how much he is loved by all.

I just wanted to update you on "Fuzzy", now named "Sparky" who is absolutely PERFECT for our house.  He is a great dog, and loves all of us (as evident from the photo).  We adore him too!  He's full of energy and spunk, loves to play catch and even slept in his crate the first night!  He loves riding
in the car with us, and his personality is just perfect for our family!

He truly is wonderful, and my oldest son will probably miss "Sparky" more than anyone else in the family while he's at camp this week!
