We were delighted to get Elaine's update on how well her little girl
is bringing great joy to their family and fitting right in.
" Our
Lucy is such a funny and loving girl. We can't imagine how
we managed without our daily laugh. She learned quickly
where the food line was, where the facilities were and that
we all were happy to have her on our lap. She gets on well
with our other doxie, but occasionally must give a growl at
the old retired greyhound if Thumper puts her giant head on
Lucy's favorite chair. Lucy is a great eater and scrambles
for her treats and anything that old Thumper can't catch.
Any visitor is greeted with a wagging tail and her odd
gurgle, so is loved by all. We love the fact that her ears
are askew and that she doesn't realize her bark isn't quite
right. (we tell her "we hear you Lucy" as she talks to us)
