A big thank you to Maggie and Bob for sending this quick update on Hershey (who we understand may soon have a new name).

We wanted to let you know Hershey is awesome.  She is totally mellow but not meek, and Shylock loves to boss her around.  She is not the least bit intimidated by him which is very cool.  She submits, but does not back down.  She does not shake or quiver with him or us.  No feeding issues with her and Shylock, and no bedtime issues last night.  No mean behavior by Shylock.   Yea!!!!

She has learned to use the puppy stairs to get onto the sofa.  Of course she is VERY motivated because Shylock is up there!  She is really good at fetching tennis balls.  Somehow gets those little teeth in the ball and carries it around proudly.

She slept all night, runs right next to Shylock on walks and is just a wonderful little puppy.  We feel blessed to have her.
