Gus (aka King) (11/07)

King has been re-named to Angus "Gus" for short.  In November, 2007 his new mom Michelle shared the following with us.

Gus is doing very well, we had a great obedience trainer from Bark Busters come over to help get
him to be a "balanced dog".  It took a few weeks to house break him, but now he understands to take his business outside.  He does not bolt or run which is a pleasant surprise, so we have lots of off leash time when playing.  He has taken his place as alpha male with our quiet Chesapeake Bay Retriever and loves to play with my big pink exercise ball.

He still lacks all the appropriate manners, but I am hopeful!  He looks great and we love him a bunch.  He has a kind and gentle demeanor and really wants to be a member of the family, like all Great Danes he thinks he is a lap dog and I often oblige.
