was thrilled to receive this note from Gracie in Feb. 2008.
I am
as happy as can be in my new home with Mommie Adele....I am spoiled
to the hilt and I get to go to dog parks, walk around Greenlake and
plenty of good Avoderm and doggie treats but my Mommie doesn't give
me any people food except she lets me lick out the rest of the
yogurt cup when she's done, and oh yeah, I get organic peanut
butter in my Kong ball when my Mommie has to go someplace and leave
me in the crate.
I've already had my first bath and boy do I smell good and my fur
feels so soft. Tomorrow I am going in for a teeth cleaning so no
food for me after 8 pm and no water either. I am a really healthy,
active, strong pup. You'd never know I had a broken leg but we are
careful not to strain it too much. My Mommie just loves me and I
get kisses all the time and sometimes I have lipstick on top of my
head....yuck! Oh and I just completed BASIC MANNERS class at
Seattle Humane Society. I am smart but my Mommie is the one who
needs training. I have done well and know how to do all of the
tricks...I'm even learning how to say my prayers (sort of).
