ChaCha

Bugsy (ChaCha)

Our sweet little 9 year old Chihuahua, ChaCha was adopted by Deborah and family.

Deborah wrote, "ChaCha is doing very well indeed. We have renamed her Bugsy. She is turning out to be such a stalwart little soul. We had been warned that she was not used to being on a leash - now she happily wears her little harness and her four tiny little legs wiggle along at our sides.

She really does love to go for walks with us and with our other dog, Iggy. The two of them make such a funny looking couple. They are both the same colouring, but Iggy is 30 pounds heavier. Bugsy seems quite attached to Iggy and, as I write this, they are both in their little beds snoring away at my feet.

Bugsy, Papa and Iggy

This is a picture of Bugsy taken in our back garden. She is doing so well. When we first got her, she was very withdrawn and seemed lonely. Slowly she is coming out of her shell. She loves to be in the back garden with her new brother, Iggy, and with her Papa. This is a picture of them all together.

Bugsy is hard of hearing, has cataracts and has only two teeth. However, she has the spunk to overcome everything and she absolutely loves to go out for walks every day. She trots along with Iggy and can put in over a mile (even though ten of her tiny trots equal only one of Iggy's)!

Bugsy thanks everyone at PUP - and we thank you too."
