Why We Foster Dogs
Before we started to foster, we were not sure if we were dog people.
But the idea of having a dog
was appealing. After many years of being a “cat only” household, we
decided that we could help out family-less dogs and see what it was
like to care for one.
 With our first foster, Annie, it was a totally new and great experience.
She taught us a lot about the needs of dogs and our lifestyle. She
is is a Whippet mix and needless to say she needed to run and
exercise. What a great challenge for us!
Since then we’ve had Tasha, Golda, Midge, Turbo, Bonkers and Dash.
Each dog is special in his/her own way and we get to see it with
each one that comes to our haven.
